How to build logical course bundles, price them, avoid confusing buyers, and use packages to increase average order value.
At WeStudy, we recommend building a package around a complete journey rather than a desire to sell everything at once. Buyers should understand within seconds why the products belong together and which broader outcome they will achieve.
The strongest bundles lead from a basic skill to more complex practice. An introductory course might prepare the tools, the main course develop competence, and a workshop help apply it in a project. Each part has its own role.
Do not add unrelated material merely to lengthen the list. A product that does not affect the promised outcome creates informational noise and reduces trust in the package.
Beginners do not always need a package. Experienced people may want only one specialized module. Describe the starting point, desired outcome, and recommended order.
Keep individual purchase options when products have independent value. This makes actual savings visible and avoids a sense of forced bundling.
Add individual prices, then define the discount for buying together. It should be enough to support a decision without making individual products look artificially overpriced.
Additional value can replace a discount: a shared kickoff meeting, a learning path, a final project, or longer access. The bonus should connect the components rather than be an unrelated gift.
After payment, students need one clear starting point. Explain what to take first, which modules can be skipped, and where to check readiness for the next level. Otherwise, a large catalog creates choice paralysis.
Track progress across the whole path as well as individual courses. If most buyers stop after the first part, the package may be too large or lack adequate transitions.
Compare average order value, profit, completion, and support requests with individual sales. A higher order value does not compensate for low use if dissatisfied buyers request refunds or see no results.
Begin with one topical bundle rather than dozens of combinations. Many similar packages complicate choice and the team's pricing and update work.
Choose two or three products that naturally build on one another, define a shared outcome, and create a short learning map.
In WeStudy, combine them into one offer while preserving a clear sequence and separate progress tracking.
